hilary clement, artist

hilary is a Greensboro, NC artist with a working studio at the 205 Collaborative on Lyndon Street.  Her recent projects include a 4' fiberglass doughnut painted for Krispy Kreme's 2014 fundraiser, illustrations for a Children's book which will be available on Amazon in 2015, logo art for a local coffee company - The Brewing Tree, and various commissioned pieces.  She is starting on a new series of oil paintings featuring local railroad scenes.  Check back soon for a preview.

Her art/life philosophy is simple.  Take whatever talent/gift/blessing you are given and work hard, using it to make the world a better place.

FEATURED IN THE KRISPY KREME 2015 Calendar - Month of August - The Daily Doughnut.  A newspaper themed 4ft fiberglass doughnut painted to look like it is wrapped in newspaper.  All headlines are doughnut themed and somewhat silly.  Sunday Funnies on the top represent icing.  Coffee, doughnut and newspaper, what a better way to start your day?  Design chosen by Krispy Kreme for one of their 12 Doughnuts on Parade!  I designed and painted this doughnut which was in the Winston Salem holiday parade 2013, went on public display for a month and was then auctioned off to benefit the charity of my choice - The Winston Salem Street School.  Thanks to the generous person who bid and won my doughnut.  Enjoy!
